2024-2025 School Year Information
Welcome to St. Luke’s Day School’s 2024-25 school year! The information below is for the parents of children who have confirmed placement. Please refer to this page often; it will be updated as we get closer to the start of school.
Important Dates:
August 16 – Class and Teacher assignments emailed to parents
August 21 – Meet the Teachers for all classes (times & schedule TBA)
Children will visit the classroom with one adult. The goal is for children to meet and interact with their new teachers and explore the classroom along with a few new classmates. Time is assigned.
August 25 – 2:30-5pm – *NEW* SLDS Parent Expo (parent only event) includes:
- “Behind the Scenes” meeting with children’s teachers in the classrooms; pick up start of school packet (schedule to come)
- Exciting new expo to learn more about SLDS curriculum specialists, SLDS Parent Advisory Council, volunteer opportunities, community partners, and church ministries
- All-School Family Assembly
August 26 – Luke’s Place Full-day and Kaleidoscope TK Full-day First Day of School (regular hours)
August 26 – SLDS Part-day & Kaleidoscope TK First Day of School* (12pm dismissal all week through 8/30)
*M-Tu, M-W, M-F classes start 8/26, W-F classes start 8/28, Th-F classes start 8/29
2024-2025 Parent School Calendar
Financial Matters
Parents have a designated form of payment on file. Charges for tuition and fees for the 2024-25 school will occur as follows:
3/13/24 – 24-25 Registration Fee
4/10/24 – September 2024 (first month) tuition deposit for ALL PROGRAMS
5/3/24 – May 2025 (last month) tuition deposit for SLDS Part-day & Kaleidoscope TK/TK FD
8/5/24 – August 2025 (last month) tuition deposit for Luke’s Place Full-day
9/5/24 – 24-25 Activity/Supply Fee for ALL PROGRAMS
Monthly tuition will be charged the first of each month – October-April for SLDS Part-day & Kaleidoscope TK/TK FD; October-July for Luke’s Place Full-day

Class Information Coming in August
An email with classroom assignment, teachers, Class Welcome Page link, and other start of school information will be sent to parents by August 16, 2024. The Class Welcome Page will include the teacher photos, class specific information, and tasks such as rest mat purchase (if applicable) and optional start of school tasks. Teacher welcome videos will be available on each page by August 21.
Enrichment Classes at St. Luke’s Day School – Fall 2024
St. Luke’s Day School offers the following optional, afternoon enrichment classes for Fall 2024:
Martial Arts (through Enrichment Services) – Tuesdays
Ballet (through Enrichment Services) – Wednesdays
Soccer Shots – Thursdays
Children in Threes, PreK, and Kaleidoscope TK classes are eligible to participate in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 enrichment classes (children in Twos classes must wait until Fall 2025).
There is a separate cost for these optional classes and parents will sign up directly with the provider. Registration for Fall 2024 classes will open in August.
Registration for these classes will open closer to the start of school. We will send an email to parents of eligible children with more information such as dates and times, and links to sign up directly with the provider. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and class minimums must be met.
