St. Luke’s Day School offers a variety of program schedules for children from 3 months through entering Kindergarten.

Day School 9-Month School Year Program

A typical classroom at St. Luke’s is a busy, noisy, happy, and creative place where play and hands-on experiences are valued as the primary vehicles for learning.

  • 6 months – entering Kindergarten (ages are as of September 1)
  • September – May
  • One, two, three, or five days per week, depending on age level
  • 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (Monday) and 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (Tuesday-Friday)
  • Two teachers per classroom for every age level

Luke’s Place- 12-Month Full Time Program

Luke’s Place is our extended day program for children ages three months through Pre-K. Luke’s Place is open year-round, Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Older children join core classes during the regular Day School hours and gather in Luke’s Place before and after school. Younger children remain with one group throughout the day.

Part-time extended hours are also available for a limited number of older children.

  • 3 months – PreK
  • September – August
  • Five days per week
  • 7:15 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Little Luke’s Place: self-contained classrooms for children under three
  • Big Luke’s Place: extended hours for children over three
  • Two teachers per classroom for every age level

Kindergarten

Recognizing that children grow and develop at different rates, the St. Luke’s Kindergarten program provides individualized instruction and curriculum for each child. Special attention is given to reasoning skills and problem solving along with academic readiness in reading and mathematics. The program also incorporates all aspects of St. Luke’s preschool curriculum. St. Luke’s Kindergarten provides the flexibility necessary to make an informed decision for your child’s future school placement.

  • 5 years old as of September 1
  • September – May
  • Five days per week
  • Two Kindergarten certified teachers in the classroom
  • School day (beginning 9 a.m.) or extended hours (beginning 7:15 a.m.) available
  • Kindergarten students needing full-time enroll in St. Luke’s After School program for the 2:30-6 p.m. portion of the day

Summer Camp

St. Luke’s Day School offers fun filled summer camp programs for children ages 2 through completed Kindergarten. We will consider your child’s age as of September 1, 2018. St. Luke’s Day School camps are open to children who are not enrolled during the school year.

2018 Summer Camp Sessions:
Session 1:  May 29-June 8, 2018 (May 28 is a holiday and the school is closed)
*Please note that there is no camp the week of Vacation Bible School (June 11-15).
Session 2: June 18- June 29, 2018
Session 3: July 2 – July 13, 2018 (July 4 is a holiday)
Session 4: July 16 – July 27, 2018
Session 5: July 30- August 10, 2018
