The SLDS Potty Training Handbook

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church

We invite you to visit St. Luke’s United Methodist Church! Our mission is to equip families and individuals to live and love like Jesus. Choose from one of our dynamic worship communities: Traditional and Contemporary on the Westheimer Campus, and Traditional and Contemporary (in English and Spanish) Gethsemane Communities on the Gethsemane campus. Sunday school and small study groups are offered for all ages. Opportunities for young children also include Vacation Bible School and Children’s Choirs. Together we had fun making it the largest Cereal Drop in SLDS history and learning how good it feels to help our neighbors in need! 328 boxes are on the way to @ccschouston. God loves a cheerful giver & we had lots of those at school today! 🌟

Our “Souper Sharing” has been so much fun, we’ve decided to keep it open one more day. We are joining others this Super Bowl weekend in restocking the shelves of food pantries all over our country. Our donations will go to @ccschouston!

We have been thinking, if every child at SLDS brought one can of food, we would fill those pantry shelves with 360 items! From the looks of it we are almost there! SLDS, Let’s score big this Friday! Our donations can send our neighbors the message one of our precious children did today! Houston, “You are loved!!!”

Our staff family joined with about 800 of our fellow early childhood educators, speakers, and vendors to kick off the annual Early Childhood Methodist Conference right here @stlukeshouston! What an amazing day of in-person professional development! Great workshops, great networking, and our gym transformed into a shopping area especially for teachers were only topped by our keynote speaker, Amanda Morgan! @amanda_notjustcute helped us get right to the heart of our why and our purpose. More to come on Friday!
