St. Luke’s United Methodist Church

We invite you to visit St. Luke’s United Methodist Church! Our mission is to equip families and individuals to live and love like Jesus. Choose from one of our dynamic worship communities: Traditional and Contemporary on the Westheimer Campus, and Traditional and Contemporary (in English and Spanish) Gethsemane Communities on the Gethsemane campus. Sunday school and small study groups are offered for all ages. Opportunities for young children also include Vacation Bible School and Children’s Choirs. Bears Big Book Fair is Here! 🐻🎄

What a beary wonderful start to the season! Our families, littles, and staff had a blast kicking off the Book Fair with Pajama Day and Cocoa in the Courtyard!
Our teachers even got in on the fun, enjoying a sneak peek and some early shopping. This joyful tradition is one of our favorite ways to ring in the Christmas season, and the magic of books always makes it extra special.

Last week, Ms. Cho and Ms. Daswani’s Pre-K class welcomed Mr. Engle to their Power Writing circle! Using their senses, the children shared descriptive clues about a mystery object, challenging Mr. Engle to guess what it might be. Can you figure it out?🦃

🍁Thanksgiving Sharing Chapel will take place Wednesday and Thursday, November 13 and 14. Items needed include canned meaty soups, dry cereal, dry beans, rice, pasta, tuna, and peanut butter. Children in 2s and up classes may bring their donated items to chapel. If your child does not attend chapel and you wish to participate, please bring items to the Welcome Desk or Day School office. Donations will benefit the Food Pantry at the Christian Community Service Center (CCSC).🍁
