Summer at St. Luke's Day School
We are returning to Camp Play-A-Lot for Summer 2026! Our focus on social/emotional well-being with play as the vehicle for connecting with others and learning new skills is a winner!
It is critical that children feel safe, valued, and loved. Our Camp Play-A-Lot curriculum focuses on important social/emotional skills such as kindness, responsibility, cooperation, problem-solving, and gratitude. Most exciting to our young campers is the idea that they are joining us to Play-A-Lot!
Additionally, Summer Fives and Summer Sixes curriculum continues the expansion and mastery of skills, so that each child starts strong and finishes even stronger in the transition to Kindergarten or to our SLDS Kaleidoscope TK class.
Application Timeline
St. Luke’s Day School offers a fun-filled summer camp for children aged 2 years through 5 or 6 years (entering Kindergarten). All ages are as of the upcoming September 1, 2026.
Application Deadline & Priority Processing:
–Priority registration is open Monday, February 2 through Friday, February 20
– Applications are processed by priority (Currently Enrolled, SLUMC Church Member, Community), and put in order of processing with a random drawing.
– Applications may be submitted after the priority deadline and will be processed in order of receipt. There is no fee to apply and be placed on the waitlist.
Session Dates
Session 1: June 1-5, June 15-26, 2026 (no camp June 8-12 or Friday, June 19)
Session 2: June 29 – July 17, 2026 (no camp Friday, July 3)
Session 3: July 20 – August 7, 2026
*Priority will be given to children registered for all sessions.
*Please note that there is no camp the week of Vacation Bible School (June 8-12) for Summer Ones through Summer Fives. For more information on VBS, visit www.stlukesmethodist.org

Currently enrolled children (2024-25) – no fee
SLUMC Church Members – $50
Community – $100
Tuition:
Tuition for each session is based on the number of days enrolled. Exact costs are listed on the applications.
Age Groups & Schedules
Camp class offerings are 2, 3 or 5 days per week. Daily hours are 9am-2:30pm.
Summer Twos – age 2 as of 9/1/2026 – Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Friday (Note: You may not combine classes to request M-F)
Summer Threes – age 3 as of 9/1/2026 – Monday-Friday, Monday-Wednesday, or Thursday-Friday
Summer Fours – age 4 as of 9/1/2026 – Monday-Friday or Monday-Wednesday
Summer Fives – age 5 as of 9/1/2026 and entering Kindergarten – Monday-Friday only
Summer Sixes – age 6 as of 9/1/2026 (summer birthday), completed PreK and entering Kindergarten – Choice of part-day (9am-2:30pm) or full-day (7:30am-5:30pm) hours; Monday-Friday only

Additional Information
Parents will provide payment information (preferably ACH or credit card) with the application, which will be submitted electronically. If the payment method is check, the application must be hand delivered.
Acceptance and waiting list notifications will go out no later than March 27. Parents will be required to confirm or decline acceptance by April 20. We expect to offer fewer camp classes this year, so children may be waitlisted. Those on the wait list will be contacted if spots become available.
If your child is accepted, applicable registration fees will be charged upon confirmation. Session tuition will be charged on the following schedule, and is not refundable once paid:
Session 1 – May 18
Session 2 – June 15
Session 3 – July 6
Interested in Summer Luke's Place or Summer Ones?
Summer Ones (18-23 months as of 9/1/26) – Hours are 9am-2:30pm Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Friday for one 9-week session (6/1-6/5, 6/15-8/7 with no camp on 6/19 or 7/3).
Luke’s Place Summer (4 or 5 as of 9/1/26) – Hours are 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday for a 10-week session (6/2-8/8) or a 9-week session (6/9-8/8), with no camp 6/19 or 7/4.
